Appreciation to all parents and students as we close our first semester at West Briar for the 2008-2009 school year. Workshop is an ongoing experiment and its success thus far is entirely attributable to the kids for buying in, the parents for being diligent in keeping track of their kids work progress, and school administration for being so helpful with the resources needed to make the workshop classroom happen.
We will work harder. The kids will grow to be stronger readers and writers. The 2nd semester will be a success.
All of the 8th grade English Language Arts teachers hope that everyone has a safe and happy holiday season, and we all look forward to the new year.
